The simple guide

hens without the jargon.

What you own, what it earns, why weight matters and how GLD reaches users.

A puzzled Hen scratching its head

the hen.

A Hen is the core NFT. Original Chikn holders get the first claim window, followed by a public free mint for the available allocation. Each eligible Chikn can claim its matching Hen, including multiple claims from one wallet.

HEGG.

HEGG has a fixed maximum supply of 11,000,000 tokens. Of that supply, 10,000,000 HEGG funds Hen emissions and 1,000,000 HEGG seeded the initial liquidity position. No HEGG is reserved for a team, ecosystem fund or discretionary allocation, and no additional HEGG can be minted.

Every Hen earns HEGG over time. Emissions reduce on a fixed schedule. You can claim HEGG from all your Hens together, hold it, trade it, or permanently burn it into a Hen.

weight stays with the NFT.

HEGG burned into a Hen increases that Hen’s recorded weight. The HEGG is permanently destroyed, while the weight stays attached to the NFT if it changes owners. Burning into a Hen is not a trade and has no token tax.

GLD redemption.

HEGG can be redeemed against GLD held by the protocol vault. A transparent base rate comes from eligible HEGG supply and available vault backing. Hen weight earns a separately funded bonus rather than quietly reducing the base claim of unweighted holders.

fees flow back.

HEGG has a 1% buy fee and 2% sell fee. The official Hen marketplace charges 2.5% on completed sales. Collected value is routed by contracts into GLD backing, floor support, liquidity and the disclosed creator share.

official marketplace.

The marketplace lets users search, list and buy Hens directly through the protocol contract. Rarity floors, listing status, weight and owner data come from verifiable onchain records.
